Blue Agave

The Blue Agave is a striking succulent known for its blue-gray, spiky leaves that form a dramatic rosette. Growing up to 6-10 feet in height and width, it is perfect for use as a landscape focal point, accent plant, or in rock gardens. This plant thrives in full sun and requires minimal watering, making it extremely drought-tolerant and low-maintenance. Blue Agave prefers well-draining soil and is excellent for xeriscaping. Its bold, architectural form adds a touch of desert elegance to any garden or outdoor space. While it takes many years to flower, the Blue Agave’s unique and striking appearance makes it a favorite for both residential and commercial landscapes. Once it blooms, typically after several years, the plant will die, but it often produces offsets or "pups" that can be replanted.
